A noetic aneurism is a weak or thin spot on a blood vessel in the brain that balloons out and fills with blood. The pouch aneurysm can put pressure on a nerve or surrounding brain tissue. It may also leak or buck, spilling blood into the surrounding tissue. Some cerebral aneurysms, particularly those that are very small, do not eject or cause other problems. Cerebral aneurysms can happen anywhere in the brain, but most are regain along a loop of arteries that run between the derriere of the brain and the base of the skull. Cerebral aneurysms are also to a greater extent common in people with certain genetic maladys, such as connective tissue disorders and polycystic kidney disease, and certain circulatory disorders. Symptoms
Aneurysms usually cause no symptoms unless they rupture and cause bleeding into the brain. Often, an aneurysm is found when a CT scan or MRI is performed for another reason. Symptoms occur if the aneurysm pushes on nearby buildings in the brain.
Symptoms depend on what structure the aneurysm pushes on, but may include, Double vision, Loss of vision, Headaches, nub pain, Neck pain.
A sudden, severe headache (often described as the worst headache of your life) is one symptom that an aneurysm has ruptured. Other symptoms of an aneurysm rupture may include:
Confusion, lethargy, sleepiness, or stupor
. Eyelid drooping
. Headaches with nausea or vomiting
. Muscle weakness or difficulty moving any part of the body
. Numbness or decreased sensation in any part of the body
. Seizures
. Slow, sluggish, foggy movement
. Speech impairment
. Stiff neck (occasionally)
