This assignment is based on the exercises in Activities 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Communicate in the employment in the Retail Operations Toolbox. Remember this theatrical role is accessed by means of the node Service signpost.

How your assignment willing be assessed
Each assignment will be assessed as PASS or FAIL. The overall assessment for this unit will be recorded as every AC for Achieved faculty or NC for Not Competent.
Task 1
interrelate to practise 1 Establish Contact With customers.
Complete the exercise in the section Welcoming factors My store. Base the exercise on a retail store that you are familiar with.
You are compulsory to:
a) design a checklist by identifying at least ogdoad relevant welcoming factors
b) rate your chosen store on each of the welcoming factors that you have identified
c) suggest improvements if appropriate.
Task 2
Refer to Activity 1 Establish Contact With Customers.

Task 3
Refer to Activity 2 Verbal and Non-verbal Communication.
Complete the exercise in the section underdeveloped verbal communication skills using the document Dean and the Customer.
Task 4
Refer to Activity 3 Identify Customer Needs.
Complete the exercise in the section A proportion of open and closed questions using either the Questions I ask my customers or Questions I was asked document provided.
Task 5
Refer to Activity 3 Identify Customer Needs.
Complete the two exercises in the section Tact and confidentiality.
a) In the first exercise, use the document, employ tact to complete the exercise.
