He then goes on to say that the reason why he is invisible is because he is black, not for the reason of some supernatural causes or something similar that. He then tells us that he is living in the basement of a complex that only allows white tenets, and that he is stilling their electricity. The speech talked about how the black man can advance with humility and submission. He then goes to give the speech in front of the most prominent white men in the city.

He then is asked to take part in a boxing match that is part of the evenings entertainment. They cover him and some of his other classmates, who are also black. They then do them box blindfolded.
